The start of a new year is always so full of opportunity, hope, excitement and wonder. A new year is like a new chapter of a book that hasn’t been written yet. My wish for you is that you write this chapter with purpose, so that when you look back on 2014 you can say “I made the most of every moment, seized every opportunity, and became a better person”.
Here are four areas I plan to work on in 2014 to create an exceptional year for myself and my business:
1. Discipline for the Body
Business – To run a profitable enterprise by managing spending and increasing sales.
Personal – To eat healthy, sleep well and exercise regularly so I can work hard and earn my salary.
2. Passion for the Heart
Business – To focus on “people” so that our colleagues, customers and communities experience genuine C.A.R.E.
Personal – To celebrate and serve others contributing to a culture of C.A.R.E. that provides a secure, safe and stable environment for my team and my family.
3. Vision for the Mind
Business – To foster a culture of learning, to continuously improve and stimulate forward progress.
Personal – To school my mind, studying, reading, and consuming positive and educational information.
4. Conscience for the Spirit
Business – To let our 8 principles
guide all business decisions and actions, and to strive for a higher purpose.
Personal – To set World-Class standards for myself and to live by them, creating not just success, but significance.
Wishing you all success and significance in 2014.
